Back pain. Known ankylosing spondylitis.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

T1W/T2W hyperintense foci are seen focally at the anteroinferior margins of T5 and T6 as well as at the anterosuperior margins of T6 and T7, compatible with the shiny corner sign.

Case Discussion

Thoracic vertebral body corner hyperintensities compatible with the shiny corner sign in a known case of ankylosing spondylitis.
