Agger nasi cells
Article Content
The agger nasi air cells are the most anterior-inferior extramural ethmoidal air cells. They invaginate under the agger nasi crest on the lateral wall of the nasal cavity. They are medial relations of the lacrimal sac and nasolacrimal duct. They usually lie within the lacrimal or maxilla bones.
The term agger nasi is derived from Latin. Agger meaning a mound and nasi meaning of the nose (from nasus, nose).
