Radiographic features
- solitary pedunculated bony overgrowth of the external auditory canal usually at the bony cartilaginous junction
- unilateral
- large lsions may be assoicated with wax, debris or secondary cholesteatoma
Differential diagnosis
External auditory canal exostoses (Surfer's ear): bilateral multiple broad based bony overgrowthovergrowths.
