Updates to Article Attributes
Managing editors at Radiopaedia.org are part of the senior editorial team and have specific roles for development of the site and its content.
As of 2014, there are four managing editors:
- Jeremy Jones
- Yuranga Weerakkody
- Andrew Dixon
- Henry Knipe
Responsibilities
Between 2007 (launch) and 2014, Radiopaedia.org hadhad 100 million page views, of which 50 million were made over the last year. The managing editors have general responsibility for developing the vision for the site and ensuring that it continues to be the awesome resource that we have today.
Each Managing editor also has a specific role to play in the development of the site and its content:
- Jeremy: general site development (features, enhancements and bugs); editorial board development
- Yuranga: content review (ensuring that the vast number of contributions are reviewed by our editorial team)
- Andrew: social media and related
projectprojects (making Radiopaedia.org's reach on the web as huge as possible) - Henry: content development (working with our editorial team to develop specific areas of the site)
How to become a Managing editor
Managing editors are invited from the pool of current section editors when a position exitsexists.
