Body was changed:

Squamous cell carcinoma in situ (CIS) of lung is a considered a preinvasive type of non small cell lung cancer

In some situations, this histoogy can also also be found around the bronchial stump margin after resection of bronchial cancer, when there is presence of CIS on histology in a bronchial resection margin after resection of a lung cancer, there are some reports of association with tumour recurrence 3 while  other reports suggest that CIS regresses without further treatment in significant number of patients 4.
