Avulsion fracture of medial epicondyle of humerus with mild antero-medial displacement of the fractured fragment and overlying soft tissue swelling. Elevated anterior and posterior fat pads of the elbow denoting joint effusion. No elbow dislocation noted.
Case Discussion
Avulsion injury of the attachment of common flexor tendon of the forearm, this injury is usually extra-articular, however sometimes associated with elbow dislocation. Fractures occurring in the dominant arm, especially in athletes is a relative indication for surgery.
