Mesenteric cystic lymphangioma

Axial CT shows fluid attenuating mesenteric mass at the right lower quadrant, with lobulated margins, causing mild displacement of the bowel loops without compression/ obstruction. No enhancement is seen after contrast administration.

Case Discussion
Mesenteric cystic lymphangiomas are rare intra-abdominal masses with a reported incidence of approximately between 1/20,000 and 1/250,000, usually located in the retroperitoneum, followed by mesentery.
On CT, mesenteric lymphangiomas appear as uni- or multilocular masses without enhancement or with mild enhancement of the septae.
