Fracture of the right lamina papyracea with herniation of orbital fat into the ethmoid air cell and orbital emphysema.
No entrapment of the medial rectus muscle.
Case Discussion
Blow-out fractures involving the medial orbital wall (lamina papyracea) are less common than inferior blow-out fractures. The medial rectus is at risk of entrapment in this type of blow-out fracture; however, in this case, it was spared.
