A 2 cm left lower lobe nodule, projecting over the cardiac silhouette on the frontal view. No focal consolidation. Both costodiaphragmatic angles are blunted. Normal cardiomediastinal contour.
Case Discussion
This patient has a known history of malignant melanoma, and this pulmonary nodule is rapidly growing and represents a metastasis. The pulmonary nodule was subsequently proven on CT.
The nodule lies in a check area, and may be subtle to some people.
