Presentation
Anterior instability of the left shoulder without prior dislocation.
Patient Data
MRI Arthrography Shoulder
The sublabral foramen is an antero-superior glenoid labrum variant characterized by detachment of the labrum from the underlying glenoid
There is quite a bit of contrast extravasation posteriorly by a posterior injection.
Case Discussion
The sublabral foramen is located between the one o'clock and three o'clock position and provides a communication between the glenohumeral joint and the subscapularis recess.
It should not be confused with a sublabral recess or SLAP tear, which are also located in this region.
