Symmetric IUGR with EFW below the second centile. There is reversed end diastolic flow of the umbilical artery, MCA reduced PI suggestive or redistribution and an absent a-wave of the ductus venosus. No fetal movements or breathing were observed.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates early onset of severe fetal growth restriction and critical Dopplers suggestive of fetal acidemia, developing in a mother with pre-eclampsia.
Fetal outcome is unknown, though statistically prognosis is poor.
