Hyperlucent region surrounding and outlining the right hemithorax with apparent crowding of the lung markings. Ground glass haziness is seen in both lungs attributed to respiratory distress syndrome of prematurity.
Case Discussion
Pneumothorax is a more common complication in meconium aspiration syndrome but may also be seen as a barotrauma complication related to ventilation.
