Significant overinflation is noted of the right middle lobe with compressive atelectasis of the right upper and lower lobes. The marked mediastinal shift is noted towards the left side.
No detectable air space consolidation, nodule, or ground-glass opacities.
Case Discussion
Features are congenital lobar emphysema (congenital lobar overinflation) of the right middle lobe.
