Acute cerebral infarct

Presentation

Middle aged man with right sided weakness and slurred speech.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male
mri

There is a wedge shaped lesion of abnormal signal intensity noted in the left frontal region, the lesion is hypointense on T1W and hyperintense on T2W and FLAIR and shows restricted diffusion on DWI. On SWI no focus of blooming noted. Imaging findings are suggestive of acute infarct in left MCA territory.
