Presentation

Nasal obstruction.

Patient Data

Age: Adult

Enhancing mass is demonstrated within the nasal cavity arising from the septum. 

Case Discussion

The patient went on to have a biopsy and then resection.

Histology

  • adenoid cystic carcinoma, predominantly tubular and cribriform.
  • the tumor involves the inferior margin extensively and also extends to the superior and posterior margins
  • perineural invasion is present
