Presentation

Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 6 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Left lower lobe atelectasis/consolidation with possible small pleural effusion.

AXR: Non-specific bowel gas pattern; again the left lower lobe process is appreciated.

A large heterogeneously enhancing left adrenal lesion, suspicious for adrenocortical carcinoma.

Nuclear medicine

Physiologic uptake at the epiphyses in this growing skeleton. No abnormal uptake to suggest bony metastasis.
