Multiple phalangeal amputations with no history of trauma and no change since birth. The features here are compatible with amniotic band syndrome.
Case Discussion
In amniotic band syndrome, patients have variable severity amputation due to fibrous bands in the amnion. This patient was relatively fortunate; other patients may have severe limb deficiency or defects.
