Case Discussion
None of the calcifications is concerning for malignancy. The liponecrotic calcifications are widespread, rounded and of similar density throughout. Some have a smal central lucency (which you also sometimes see in cutaneous calcifications).
The linear casting calcifications run in ducts and radiate in the ducts fan;shaped into the breast. You cannot confuse them with DCIS; there are no "wild and crazies", no X's Y's and Z's and they are all the same density. Contrast them with the examples of DCIS.
