Bicornuate bicollis uterus

Presentation

Ultrasonography evaluation suggested uterine anomaly.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female
MRI

The uterus shows two separated cervical canals and two endometrial cavities. A small cleft along the fundus gives the uterus a heart-shaped external contour. In addition, a hypointense septum is seen in middle and proximal portions of the vagina.

Case Discussion

Features are consistent with bicornuate bicollis uterus​ which is a type of uterine duplication anomaly. It can be classified as a class IV Mullerian duct anomaly.
