Presentation

Bilateral hip pain. Aplastic anemia. Currently on steroid therapy.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

Bilateral femoral heads show signal changes and geographic defects. These areas show high signals on T2WI and T1WI.

No significant collapse of the femoral heads is noted.

There is minimal joint effusion bilaterally.

Surrounding tendons and muscles returning normal signal.
