Presentation

Patient with disorientation and inability to walk independently. Patient had recurrent unwitnessed falls in the last 3 weeks.

Patient Data

Age: 80
Gender: Female
ct

An extra axial heterogeneous fluid collection at the right frontal and parietal convexity which has crossed the coronal suture. The collection shows areas of mixed density indicating acute on chronic subdural bleeding. The largest axial dimension is 2.5 cm. There is 8 mm midline shift to the left. There is effacement of the right lateral ventricle. There is no transtentorial or foramen magnum herniation identified. There is a mixed density small 7 mm left acute on chronic subdural hematoma.

There is an acute on chronic right and left subdural hematoma. There is midline shift but no transtentorial or foramen magnum herniation identified.
