Case Discussion

Galactography is a dying art. It takes time, effort and patience It makes sense only when a single duct is involved. The actual nature of the discharge does not predict the etiology. The traditional teaching that a bloody discharge is more sinister than others is not true in practice.

Bilateral nipple discharges would be more likely due to constitutional causes and most of those are idiopathic.
