Bilateral globus pallidusglobi pallidi oval shpaedshaped areas of altered signals eliciting low T1 and high T2 and FLAIR signals. Similar smaller foci are also seen atin the left putamen.

Other causes of bilateral globus pallidusglobi pallidi lesions include Leigh disease, Wilson disease, Creutzfeldt Jacob-Jakob disease (CJD) as well as other toxic encephalopathies, such as cyanide andor methanol intoxicationsexposure.
