There is high grade increased tracer uptake associated withthe large cardiac mass occupying the right atrium, rightventricle and extending into anterior mediastinal softtissue. The spleen is not enlarged and bone marrow uptake isnormal.
Interpretation: Appearances are in keeping withmetabolically active disease within cardiac mass extendinginto the anterior mediastinum, most likely lymphoma. Thereis no evidence of metabolically active disease elsewhere.
