Intact extensor carpi ulnaris tendon. Synovial thickening with effusion involving the tendon sheath. A linear echogenic focus (4 mm length) in the tendon sheath.

A retrieved thorn fragment from the 6th extensor compartment tendon sheath.
Case Discussion
The case shows foreign body-induced tenosynovitis of the 6th extensor compartment of the wrist. The foreign body (thorn fragment) was surgically removed.
