Lung cancer - huge

Case contributed by Frank Gaillard
Diagnosis almost certain

Chest radiographs

x-ray

Chest x-ray demonstrates a large left sided midzone mass, with lobulated margins. There is no convincing extension beyond the chest wall and the remainder of the chest, other than a degree of hyperinflation, appears unremarkable.

ct

CT confirms the findings. Only a few small mediastinal nodes are present, and no other parenchymal mass is identified.

Case Discussion

Features are consistent with the subsequently histology proven bronchogenic carcinoma
