Intraventricular meningiomas are rare intracranial tumours even though it is known to be one of the commonest intraventricular neoplasms in adults. Histologically intraventricular meningiomas commonly belong to the fibroblastic variety.These. These are usually benign and rarely are malignant with tendency to metastasize. The commonest age of presentation is between the 4th and 6th decades of life with a slightly higher incidence in females.
In the absence of dura within ventricles, intraventricular meningiomas are thought to arise from mengingothelial inclusion bodies in the tela choroidea and the choroid plexus.
The commonest locations are the trigone of the lateral ventricles which was seen in this case. They rarely occur near the foramen of Monro and the frontal horns.

Updates to Study Attributes
A well defined oval shaped homogeneous solid lesion noted in the trigone of right lateral ventricle which is iso signal to the grey matter in T1W, T2W and FLAIR images . Post Gd study shows avid homogenous enhancement.No significant mass effect and no extraventricular invasion. No evidence of hydrocephalus in this study.
