Resected bladder cancer on surveillance to rule out metastasis.

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Right para-tracheal opacity.

Right upper lobe para-tracheal lesion.

Case Discussion

Right upper lobectomy: Moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma, adenocarcinoma in situ, invasive acinar and micropapillary types with maximal diameter of 6 cm. Extension across visceral pleura to visceral pleural surface. Extensive lymphatic permeation in the vicinity of the tumor. 

Adenocarcinoma in situ maximal diameter 2 cm consistent with second primary.

Focal atypical adenomatous hyperplasia.
