Presentation

Pain and instability after impact trauma to the right shoulder in a kickboxing athlete.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

Presence of bone fragment in the subequatorial region of the glenoid with sclerosis and irregularity of the adjacent bone.

Small bone fragment is detectable in the lower joint recess.

Calcification of the posterior glenohumeral ligament (Bennet lesion).

Case Discussion

The lesion was treated with a Chondro-GideTM collagen scaffold implant via arthroscopy.
