Chest CT with and without IV contrast.
No evidence of pleura effusion.
Two solid density masses in left lower lobe superior segment surrounded with smaller distal satellite nodules. Bigger mass is drained by subsegmental bronchi. This appearance could be of a granulomatous process.
CT reveals enlarged right hilar lymph node. Mediastinal lymph nodes are insignificant.
Conclusion: findings suggest active granulomatous process.
Case Discussion
Bronchial wash and cultures confirmed tuberculosis.
