Presentation

Primary infertility for 4 years

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female
Fluoroscopy

Hysterosalpingogram shows just the left side of the uterus filling in the contrast study suggesting a unicornuate uterus.

Some filling defects are also seen in the uterus body most likely compatible with air bubbles.

Case Discussion

Unicornuate uterus is a rare uterine congenital anomaly and carries a poor prognosis, associated with a high rate of early pregnancy loss, intra uterine fetal death and preterm labor.
