Description

One day case-based review of emergency radiology with radiologists Dr Andrew Dixon and Dr Craig Hacking at the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital in Brisbane on Sunday 21 October 2018. Learn how to detect important pathologies on x-ray and CT, and how to avoid common interpretation pitfalls.

This interactive course is targeted at non-radiologists and is ideal for health professionals (doctors and non-doctors) involved in the care of emergency patients. Registration includes bonus online access to over 6 hours of video on demand teaching.

Note: chest and abdominal trauma is not covered in this course as we have a separate trauma radiology course

Video

All attendees will receive 12 months free online video access to all videos from our 2015 Emergency Radiology Course and the spine videos from our 2016 Trauma Radiology Course valued at over USD$120. Video access commences immediately after course payment is made and ends on 21 October 2019. 

CPD Certification

All attendees receive a certificate of course attendance.

Presenters

Dr Andrew Dixon (@DrAndrewDixon) is a radiologist at Melbourne's Alfred Hospital, one of Australia's leading trauma hospitals. He is recognized both locally and internationally as an engaging radiology educator particularly in the areas of trauma and emergency imaging. In addition to his academic director role with Radiopaedia.org, Andrew has founded the Radiology Channel on YouTube and is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of the American College of Radiology. 

Dr Craig Hacking (@drcraighacking) is a radiologist at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with a special interest in trauma and emergency radiology. He is currently a managing editor at Radiopaedia.org and is an executive committee member on the recently formed Australian and New Zealand Emergency Radiology Group (ANZERG). Craig has spoken at many national emergency and trauma conferences including the Australian Trauma Society and the Queensland Trauma Symposium.

Refund policy
