Prominent transmediastinal artery - testis

There is a hypoechoic band-like zone obliquely crossing the upper pole of right testis. On Doppler study, avid vascularity is noted with biphasic arterial waveform consistent with a crossing arterial channel.
Case Discussion
A crossing arterial channel through testicular parenchyma is likely a prominent transmediastinal artery. Crossing vascular structures are one of the causes of striated appearance of the testis.
Differential diagnoses for this appearance include intratesticular varicocele and testicular arteriovenous malformation.
