the right vagina is obstructed and distended by a high signal in T1 and intermediate T2 with no signal drop in T1 fat sat denoting haemorrhagic content (haematocolpus)
a similar signal yet to a much lesser extent is seen at the right uterine horn
the left vaginal cavity is collapsed and seen stretched over the distended right vagina
