The Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) is the national society for radiologists in Canada. Its current president is Gilles Soulez. It publishes the Canadian Association of Radiologists Journal.
History
The Canadian Association of Radiologists was founded in 1937 by Canadian radiologist Gordon Richards (1885–1949), who despite his towering stature in Canadian radiology turned down an offer to be the first president of the association 2.
