There is an obstructing enhancing soft tissue density oesophageal mass that measures 1.91 x 2.23 x 3.27 cm (AP x CC x Tr) obstructing the lumen of the oesophagus at T6-T7 level. It causes proximal oesophageal dilatation with air fluid level and food debris within the dilated oesophagus. There is loss of the fat planes between the oesophagus and trachea, carina and descending thoracic aorta.
The heart is enlarged. There is a well-opacified aberrant right subclavian artery that courses distal to the origin of the left subclavian artery from the arch of aorta and passes in between the dilated oesophagus and thoracic vertebral body.
