On the non contrast study, there is a mass at the level of the left side of the neck with displacement of the vascular and area structures towards the contralateral side. The mass is contiguous with the thyroid gland. It demonstrates heterogenous nodular enhancement post contrast, with associated displacement of the jugular veins, left common carotid artery, and trachea to the right.
Volumetric reconstruction of the neck shows an enlarged thyroid gland predominantly in the left thyroid lobe, with an intrathoracic component occupying the superior mediastinum.
