Gross Description:

The pieces of specimen range from 2 to 6 x 5 x 3 mm, gray in color, firm, and all transferred into 01 cassette.

Microscopic Description:

On one slide prepared from the received specimen and stained with(HE, it is observed: The tumor tissue has a structure consisting of nests and clusters, interspersed with areas showing a spiral structure. The tumor cells have indistinct borders, uniformly small nuclei, finely stained cytoplasm, and some cells with pseudoinclusions. The stromal tissue of the tumor shows fibrous proliferation. No atypical cells, mitoses, or necrosis are observed.

Conclusion:

Meningiothelial meningioma, WHO grade 1
