Acute subarachnoid haemorrhage is seen within the bilateral Sylvian fissures, temporal lobes, peri-mesencephalic cisterns, suprasellar cistern and interhemispheric fissure.
The temporal horns of the lateral ventricles are prominent which is suggestive of early hydrocephalus.
