A calcified nasal cavity foreign body

Presentation

Nasal discharge and blockage of 20 years and a childhood history of nasal foreign body which was partially removed.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

A 2.17 x 1.56 x 1.24 cm pre-contrast hyperdense bone density focal mass in the right nasal cavity located 0.8 cm distal to nasal orifice attached to anteroinferior edge of the right middle turbinate pushing and kinking the bony nasal septum to contralateral side obstructing the left nasal orifice. Finding suggestive of right nasal cavity bone density calcified foreign body with contralateral bony nasal septum deviation and left nasal cavity obstruction with left maxillary sinus small retention cyst.
