Absence of the ACL fibers without of fibrous changes in the expected location.
PCL and collateral ligaments are normal.
Menisci are unremarkable.
Medial patellar plica is enlarged with fibrotic changes.
Case Discussion
There is absent ACL, with normal PCL and without signs of bone/meniscal dysplasia.
It's hard to conclude definitely whether the ACL absence is congenital or it's a result of complete tear with full resorption.
Knee pain and mild joint effusion are possible due to medial patellar plica fibrosis.
