Presentation

Acute presentation with confusion, unsteady, headache, and visual disturbance.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

Left occipital wedge shaped cerebral hypodensity is noted along the left PCA territory.

Hyperdense Left PCA is noted.

Old right periventricular lacunar infract. Involutional brain changes. Chronic white matter ischemic changes of small vessel disease. No intracranial bleed. No midline shift. No brain surface collection.

Urgent stroke team review was advised.

Case Discussion

The CT study demonstrates common presentation and radiological findings of PCA territory acute cerebral infarct. Unfortunately, further clinical follow up is not available for this case.
