Right sided weakness, decrease level of consciousness

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Subtle hypodense area involving the left frontal region suggestive of acute infarction in the left middle cerebral artery territory.
Old lacunar infarcts involving the right frontal region.
No intracranial hemorrhage.

Follow up study 1 day later

The area of hypodensity at the territory of the left middle cerebral artery appears more extensive and hypodense consistent with patient's known acute infarction.
No midline shifting
No brain hemorrhage
