Diffuse irregularity of uterine cavity contour with multiple irregular branching outpouchings of contrast radiating from the uterine cavity, inferring extension of the endometrial glands into the myometrium.
The hysterosalpingogram fails to outline either of the fallopian tubes. No peritoneal spill was seen on either side.
Case Discussion
The imaging findings are compatible with diffuse adenomyosis and bilateral tubal block with no evidence of peritoneal spillage on either side.
