Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage

Evidence of subarachnoid hemorrhage involving most of the left cerebral hemisphere sulci as well as in the basal cistern on the left side.
Rounded, hyperdense lesion seen in the left temporal lobe.
No bone fracture.

Large saccular cerebral aneurysm is seen at the M1 segment of left MCA.
Case Discussion
Trauma is by far the commonest cause of subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Ruptured saccular aneurysm (as in our case) is the most common cause of spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage.
