Extra-axial broad-based mass centered on the left anterior clinoid process, isointense to the cortical grey matter on both T1 and T2 slightly hyperintense on FLAIR with vivid homogeneous enhancement on postcontrast sequences. A "CSF cleft sign" around the mass is noted on coronal T2 sequence indicating its extra-axial location. Partial encasement of the ipsilateral cavernous sinus with preserved diameter of the intracavernous and supraclinoid internal carotid artery.
Case Discussion
MRI features most consistent with meningiomas of the left anterior clinoid process.
