Presentation

Knee twist.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Complete tear of middle segment of anterior cruciate ligament with retraction.

Bone marrow edema of the lateral femoral condyle with lateral femoral notch sign, and also noted at posterolateral aspect of tibial plateau.

Superficial and intrasubstance high T2 signal of lateral collateral ligament reflecting grade 2 injury.

Superficial high T2 signal of medial collateral ligament reflecting grade 1 injury.

Moderate knee effusion.

High T2 signal intensity of popliteus tendon , reflecting injury.

Diffuse subcutaneous edema.
