ACL has a heterogeneous signal, demonstrating a celery stalk sign.
Note the discoid lateral meniscus.
Degenerative changes of the medial meniscus.
Moderate osteoarthritis of the patellofemoral joint with a small joint effusion.
There is a small Baker cyst.
Case Discussion
There is a good case with the classic signs of ACL mucoid degeneration. It should not be misdiagnosed as a rupture since the fibers are not torn.
