Painful, not swollen right knee. Attended theater yesterday.

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Multiple well defined high density foci in the suprapatellar pouch.

Air and fluid int he suprapatellar pouch,

Degenerative changes in the knee.

Case Discussion

Antibiotic beads are used chiefly in orthopedics for septic arthritis and osteomyelitis treatment.

The beads are not to be confused with osteochrondromatosis.
