Well-defined right frontal parafalcine broad-based extra-axial mass abutting the superior sagittal sinus. It displays an isosignal to the cortical grey matter on T1 and T2, slight high on FLAIR with minor restricted diffusion and homogeneous enhancement on postcontrast sequences. There is an invasion of the adjacent skull bone well-demonstrated mainly on the coronal and sagittal sequences. A rim of CSF signal surrounding the mass "CSF cleft sign", indicating its extra-axial location. A mild mass effect is noted on the adjacent brain with no subfalcine herniation.

Case Discussion

MRI features of a frontal meningioma invading the skull bone, pathologically proven as atypical meningioma grade II.
